    How it works

    1. Add your WebP images.
    2. Adjust the quality if you like, then press the button.
    3. Download your JPG files (several arrive as a ZIP).

    Why images download as WebP

WebP is a modern format that many websites use because the files are small. Most browsers show it fine, but some older editors, printers and upload forms only accept JPG or PNG.

Converting to JPG gives you a file that works nearly everywhere. If the WebP has transparency, it becomes white in the JPG.

    Frequently asked questions

    What about animated WebP files?

Only the first frame is converted, because JPG cannot store animation.

    Will the picture lose quality?

JPG is lossy, so there is a very small change at the default 92% quality, usually not visible. Raise the quality if you want to keep it even closer.

    Are my files uploaded anywhere?

No. Everything happens inside your browser, on your own device. Your files are never sent to a server, and you can confirm that in your browser's network tab. Close the tab and they're gone.

Can I process several images at once?

Yes. Add as many as you like (up to 50). Each one is processed on its own, and you download them together as a ZIP.

Is there a file size limit?

Each file can be up to 100 MB, and up to 300 MB in total. Because the work happens on your device, very large files depend on your available memory. A desktop browser handles them best.
