Your files stay on your device

Most online PDF tools upload your file to a server, work on it there and send it back. These don't. The code runs inside your browser tab, so a passport scan or a contract never leaves your computer or phone.

That also makes it quick, because there is no upload to wait for. And once a page has loaded, the tools keep working with no connection at all.

Check it yourself

  1. Go offline. Open a tool, turn off your wifi, then use it. It still works, because nothing needs a server.
  2. Watch the network. Open your browser's developer tools (F12), pick the Network tab and run a tool. No request carries your file.
  3. Read the limits. The how it works page says plainly what these tools can't do.
